Shires Equestrian is a household name all around the world – with the riding set at least – and has been for more than a generation. Shires' history for quality and value began in 1968, and it has been owned by the same family ever since. Have no doubt that they offer the same quality today as they did in your parents’ time. They received a Royal Warrant to supply Her Majesty with footwear, clothing and equine equipment in 2009, and they design, develop and manufacture all of their products in-house.

Material: A few of our favourite Shires Equestrian gear includes their Fillis line of stirrup irons. These combine the strength and no-fuss durability of stainless steel with a long-lasting rubber tread. They feature a traditional triangular ‘knife edge’ design which is ideal both for show and casual riding.
Design: Shires Equestrian also offers the EZI-Groom line of grooming products. In particular, we recommend their hoof picks. These have a solid metal core with a durable vinyl coating, and a beautiful ergonomic design. They’re also built small enough to be truly pocket-sized but large enough to do the job right. Another EZI-Groom product to look for is their dandy brush. It is contoured to fit the hand perfectly, and its extra-long bristles make brushing a joy.
